Call for Papers: NCCC-134 2012 (September 7, 2011)

The NCCC-134 Committee on Applied Commodity Price Analysis, Forecasting and Market Risk Management will hold its 2012 Conference on April 16-17 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel St. Louis – Downtown, St. Louis, Missouri.

The deadline for paper proposals is October 3, 2011.

Proposed papers should emphasize applied research. We encourage papers on commodity price forecasting, farm and agribusiness risk management, futures and options markets, as well as price analysis problems or issues. The full call for proposals is attached. Please feel free to circulate the flyer with your colleagues and students.

The NCCC-134 conferences have a strong tradition of excellent research and open discussion involving academics, industry, and government agencies. We look forward to continuing this tradition. Graduate students are encouraged to participate in the meeting. If a graduate student is presenting a paper, then one of their faculty advisors should also be present at the Conference.
