FARROWING COSTS FOR WEANED PIGS

Yearly farrowing costs for one sow producing weaned pigs are shown in Table 2. Costs are based on a 1,200 sow facility using new investment values to calculate facility costs. Costs are given for differing numbers of pigs sold per sow per year.
